I love taking photos of your sweet children and newborns but thought I'd post something fun and somewhat personal. Here in Birmingham, there are only a couple of good baby stores to shop at so a lot of research had to be done to find the best baby stuff!
With my second little boy being almost 7 months old and most of my clients having children around the same ages as mine, I thought I would share my favorite baby items! I'm the queen of finding random new stuff to make life with a little one easier.. I may just be lazy though:)
You can click on the pictures below to see the prices of the items on Amazon.

aden + anais Cotton Muslin Swaddle Blanket
|
My oldest was swaddled in this blanket from the first day and still sleeps with it at 2.5 years old! It's his night night:) They are so soft and thin enough to where you don't have to worry about them getting to warm or if it gets on their face.

Bebe Baby Bottle Holder
|
The BEST idea ever! The Bebe Bottle Holder has been a lifesaver with 2 kiddos! Makes being on the go so much easier and even great to use at home when you are trying to cook dinner and entertain the older child. My new baby shower gift for my friends who plan on bottle feeding!

Boon Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon
|
I found this with my first and it is also another on the go helper! YOu just pour the baby food in the spoon, put the lid on and you are ready to go! No more carrying around the jars and then having to use 2 hands. It's great for car rides if mom can ride in the back while dad drives!

Boon Dispensing Spoon for Plum Organics
|
Plum organics makes baby food pouches that you can bring along with you, take these reusable spoons and screw them on and you are all set! A little more expensive to go this route but great to have in the diaper bag for back up!

Puj Tub
|
This tub was also an addition to my baby stuff with baby #2! It folds up and fits right under the faucet in our bathroom. The baby is inclined the whole time, no having to lift them up to bath and having them slip. There are slits around it so it doesn't over flow with water and then you can just hang it up to dry afterwards. Depending on how big your baby is, it might not last as long as other tubs but we got use out of it until our chunky little one was about 5 months old.

Baby Trend Single Snap N' Go Stroller
|
I wish I had used this with my first child! I am currently borrowing this from a friend and I LOVE it. I a seriously should not have bought a double stroller. My 2.5 year old wants to walk most of the time and i've figured out that he can sit on the cup holder tray if I need to make him ride for a bit. (not exactly included in the instructions.. but it works great!) The basket is huge and it makes the heavy pumpkin seats so much more manageable!

Summer Infant Baby Touch Digital Color Video Monitor
|
We had a single camera monitor with just one child and upgraded to this 2 camera on when #2 came along. It's been a great monitor and we love the fact that you can move the cameras around and zoom in. It also has a scan option that will switch views every 8 seconds which is great for middle of the night. It also has a microphone feature that has come in very handy with our 2.5 year old and his need to get out of his big boy bed!:)
I know there are several other things that I love and will share in another post down the road!
Until then, enjoy the upcoming blog posts of my recent newborn and family photo sessions! It's been a busy summer so far and i'm loving every minute!
